The Barnsley Branch Host Day  -  Sunday 10th September   10.30am

This will be the Barnsley Branch’s 3rd Host Day. This year we will be at Worsbrough Country Park and Mill Museum. Worsbrough Country Park provides for a wide range of interests with a historic working Corn Mill and an Open Farm, set in a 200 acre country park with fishing reservoir. The Mill was first recorded in the Domesday Survey in 1086 and the present building, a water powered corn mill was constructed about 1625.

We will be serving refreshments on arrival followed by a guided tour of the mill. Sunday lunch is available at The Button Mill across the road or you may wish to picnic in the country park. We hope you can join us for what we hope will be an interesting day.
